Sounds like your machine done got itself into sabbath mode (sab ?) - check the user info, you will have to press and hold something to exit

Hold Clock button for 3 to 5 seconds to activate Sabbath mode.

Ahh, thank you that must be the answer, i'm sorry my mind is fogged I've just undertaken a 18 hour journey from Maryland to Green Bay I'm in the middle of a blizzard.
