I have a Kenmore washer series 90 and today after a small load was started once it reached the area between for it to start draining in order to go to the rinse cycle, it stopped and did not go further. I tried some of the other cycles, and speeds to see if it was related to the normal wash cycle or wash speeds. It did not matter what was tried, once the wash cycle was over the machine stopped and did not proceed. When the other cycles were tried not more water was added, telling me that it recognized the amount of water in the tub. Opening the dooor and trying to see if the door switch was preventing the timer from engaging did not have any effect. I believe that he drain pump may have died, but I am looking for advice on what else could be wrong or if repalcing the pump will resolved the issue. Thanks in advance
