Seems a little short for a model number but I'm not there to check. It is a dual fuel 30" range maybe 10-15 years old that I am considering grabbing used, but I can't find any info on converting the burners to propane. I did find a thread about somebody trying to convert one to natural gas and the responses were that he needed different burner tubes and they were no longer available (2 out of the 4 part she needed).

Anyone who has messed with one of these and can point me toward a parts diagram or outline conversion parts would be appreciated.

thanks,

brian

from the service manual:

The dual fuel range is factory equipped for natural gas.
Orifices are provided for LP conversion.
If the Natural gas orifices are lost, burner tubes must be ordered to reinstall.

thanks for reply. i guess my options aren't set for e-mail notification.

sorry it took me a little while to get back.

the thing that confuses me is that, apparently from reply, orifices are all that need to be changed for conversion from NG to Propane or vice versa, and they are supplied (maybe in an envelope glued to the back or . . . ?

But if you lose them you have to get new burner tubes instead of just orificies. I'm not grokking that. Help a senior apprentice go further.

Thanks,

brian
