Maytag Neptune, Model: MAH3000AWW

I have a washing machine Maytag Neptune, Model: MAH3000AWW. I started experiencing some problems related to on/off button operation. Sometimes, once the start button is pressed, after a few minutes it comes off and machine stops working. This sometimes happens just before the first rinse mode, sometimes at the very beginning of the washing cycle, and sometimes the machine is able to go through all the cycle without stopping (about 25% of the time it works properly?). Once the on button comes off during the middle of the cycle, and once it is turned back on, it again works for a minute or so and turns off again. When the start button comes off even once during any operational cycle (washing or rinsing), the machine does not tumble or spin once the start button is pressed again. If the cycle is forced with intermittent pressing of on/off button, with manually changed modes, the rinsing still takes place, but just by filling the water and extracting it, no spinning or moving in any way. Once the cycle is forced to finish, the clothes are still full of water as extraction during the spinning place did not take place.
I checked control board visually and nothing seems to be damaged.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance!

But... my damn washer is broken - again.
It is doing the exact same thing as described in this thread. And yes, I downloaded and read the service bulletin but I need some help with step by step instructions on exactly what that service bulletin wants me to do.
To be specific, this is what it is doing:
problems related to on/off button operation. Once the cycle is forced to finish, the clothes are still full of water as extraction during the spinning place did not take place.
I checked control board visually and nothing seems to be damaged.
And the technical service bulletin says I need to:
Pull each terminal of the white wire harness connected to each water valve solenoid and verify the
wire is properly stripped and crimped to the metal terminal connector of the wire harness. Make sure
the wires fit snug on the terminals of the water valve solenoids.
Please tell me where the white wire harness connected to each water valve solenoid is located? How do I access it? Can someone post a picture please? (I'm a very visual learner).
And thanks in advance for your help!

Anyway... I'm looking forward to tackling this once again! It feels so good when I'm able to fix it myself.
EDITED because now the "door lock" light is coming on.
*sigh*
Please respond asap. Thanks guys!

I replaced the wax motor thingy and it's working like brand new!!!
I so love you guys!!! Even though I didn't really figure it out from this thread, you all sent me the "official service manual" a while back so I grabbed a Corona and did the step-by-step trouble shooting all by myself!!!
Beer money incoming!!!
