In the fixitnow Web Site it mentions testing coil activation with test cord . How is this done? Thanks.

Yes. For gas dryer valve solenoid coils. I will go back and try to find it.

Problem is igniter lights then clicks off after 15 seconds.

I touched a small screw diver to top of Secondary coil felt magnet attraction but nothing on Booster/Holding. I'm assuming coils not being energized.

Dryer has always worked and has never been stored.

On Fixitnow site. FAQ Section. 'Gas Dryer Runs But Won't heat up." part of reply reads. " Check valve resistance. You may also need to activate each valve with a test cord....."

I don't think Dryer Coils can be tested with a "test cord"

but they do get weak and sluggish . . . won't work when warm.

Ignitor will repeatedly cycle without the Gas Valve opening.

Good catch, Reg. I figured since he didn't include his model number, he didn't mind about getting the wrong part. :argh:
