About 2 weeks ago, my Kenmore side by side refrigerator model # 253.54669407 stopped cooling. i uncovered the Evap Coil and it was frozen. Not sure what it was, i took a blind stab at it, and replaced both the ADC and the thermostat. Everything seemed to be okay, but it's been about a week later and i'm back to the same problem. Freezer box is warm again. (the fridge is only about 6 years old)

The ADC that was sent to me was Electrolux ADC kit 5303918476 which included 242011001 ADC IV and 241735702 Control Box Wiring Harness.

Obviously I'm still having problems!!!

Problem #1....I was hoping someone knows how to force a manual defrost on this fridge. I'm hoping to at least salvage my food and get a few more days out of cooling until the defrost fails again.

Problem #2....I was hoping someone can help me troubleshoot why this keeps happening.

which "thermostat" ?
Defrost Thermostat
Freezer Thermostat
Fridge Thermostat
How's the Defrost Heater ?
To initiate defrost,
depress the fresh food light switch 5 times in 6 seconds
(light bulb must be working).
