RedToryTy
Took a call this morning, where I replaced a overload/relay assembly today (fried like an egg). After reconnecting essential wires for the compressor and fan, I reconnected the power and heard no compressor running. Next, I jumped each cold control with a cheater wire, checked voltage at the relay, and got nothing. Since power comes from the outlet, through the cold control and condenser fan, and then to the overload/relay and I know the controls and the relay are good, don't I replace the condenser fan? What am I missing in this scenario?
RegUS_PatOff
Was the Condenser Fan and / or Compressor running at all when you arrived ?(should always make sure)It may have been in a Defrost Cycle OR the Defrost Controller may be bad (may have been bad before you arrived)click on picture 240389616.pdf
