After not using the icemaker for about 2 weeks, my icemaker froze up. Long story short found that water is somehow getting into the auger motor and freezing it up; have taken it out used hair dryer and left it dry out completely put back the next day and left fridge alone for several hours and once again is froze with large amounts of ice on it?

I solved my problem n the GE side by side Fridge by removing the auger motor and back, removed ice built up, sealed area so water didn't accumulate and freeze up again. I also removed ice trey and defrosted the water trough going into the ice trey. So far so good-
