Hi, following http://applianceguru...89&forum_id=2#;
If i see a small amount of oil so it means the tranny is spoiled?
I think the snubber is surely spoiled, but if the issue is also to change the tranny, so it doesn't worth to fix the washer :-(
PLease see the attached picture
(the black strip is just because I touch there with my finger)
Thanks in advance!

Small amount of oil is probably nothing to worry about. Does it agitate and spin at the same time?

Snubber ring replacement help here ==> Maytag Performa washer dancing around and banging during spin cycle? You need to replace the snubber assembly. Some tips…

wooooweee, if all that residue is snubber dust that thing has been banging around for a long while.
look closely around the inside edges of the metal channel in the base. Sometimes when the snubber
is that far gone the base of the tripod will actually cut through the base of the washer or crack it.

Hi,

Thank you all, but it seems it was to late.
The machine indeed jumped for a very long time.
Today it doesn't worked more. It is stucked. Seems like the transmission is damaged - I think because all that long time using it with a bad snubber.
At least, I've learned very much about washers ;-)...

Thanks anyway
