My gas dryer will heat sometimes and then cool air blows. It will run through the whole cycle when on the timed setting and shut off (clothes still wet after 60 minute cycle), but on the sensor settings the dryer will just run continuously. I have read that we should check the the ohms on certain things, how do we do this? Also, from everything that I have read, it seems as if it might be bad coils. We do not want to buy the wrong part, any suggestions?

1) Timed Dry uses the Timer.... with Sensor Dry, Timer isn't told to run until air reaches temperature
2) Gas Valve Coils ... common fail ... cheap fix
