Whirlpool Washer - Water Intake Valve

2 posts in this topic

Is the water intake valve something my not very handy husband could do or is this something that would require more expertise? He did replace the garbage disposal once; we were both a bit suprised he did it.

I am pretty sure it's the intake valve because the cold water just trickles in but other water temps are fine.

Thanks,

Denise

Piece of pie, comrade!  This repair is not quite a full mug on the SUDs-o-meter

Remove the washer cabinet and the valve is right there on the rear bulkhead.

Plug 'n chug.  :pint:
