All Appliantology tech members are invited to join in this workshop on all things Appliantological: bidness, customers, tools, troubleshooting, flavorite brewski, whatever. Webcams and microphones are open and live!
This workshop is also a great time for any students at Master Samurai Tech to bring any and all questions about the coursework. We're happy to walk through any concepts you're having trouble with. Think of it like office hours with your teachers.
If you have a specific appliance problem you'd like us to talk about, post it here! We need a problem statement and a PDF of the tech sheet or schematic so we can all see it on screen share. If you have a PDF that isn't already in the File library here at Appliantology, send it to us by attaching it to the contact form.
Also, follow this Calendar Event so you'll get notified of new posts here. Look for the "Follow" button either at the top of the topic on desktop or below the topic on mobile.

Dishwasher power cleaner (Whirlpool)

AmTec Services

Recommended Posts

Went out on a call for poor performance. :whistling: When I opened up the diswasher I saw the scale build up in the spray arm ports and knew I was in for a treat! :wallbash: I tore down the insides and removed the lower arm and fine screen. The scale and detergent build up was the worst I've seen. I scraped and vacuumed the crud off until I could at least see parts of the actual diswasher. I pulled the cover off the intake and got that area clear so water could flow. Poked out the spray nozzles so water could flow.

I need a recommendation for a cleaner to use in this washer. Something to get this crud out. The wash action is much better, but it needs some high power cleaner!!

..........Thanks

.................AmTec :thanks:

If all else fails, use dishwasher magic. It's made me a hero many times. That and LemiShine. Now LemiShine has a rinse aid.smt-001_med2a.jpg41dxJAJCfpL._AA115_.jpg The LemiShine pic will bring you to Amazon.com. Don't buy it there, thats twice what I paid for it at the grocery store.
