My Jenn Aire downdraft range was installed 20 years ago and has functioned properly - until now. When I set an oven termperature for BAKE the oven momentarily comes on and displays "140 degrees pre-heat" but after maybe 10 seconds it turns off. Sometimes it can trick it into staying on by fiddling with the temperature setting. Any Idea what is malfunctioning? My guess is that it is the electronic control sensing oven temperature, which may be built into the touchpad. Unfortunately, a replacement touchpad is no longer available from the manufacturer.

I don't want to replace this range because it offers the option of grilling on the stove top, which no other 30" drop-in/slide-in range offers. Besides other than this problem the range is fully functional.
