I have a 2005 Maytag refridgerator model MFD2561HES. Over the last 48 hours the refridgerator temperature is fluctuating from 42 degrees to 65 degrees. Freezer has for most of the last two day maintained normal temperature. Evaporator fan motor is stopping. I can get it to run for several hours by starting it rotating manually. The original motor was replaced in May 2008 by a local repairman for $325 ($90 parts and $235 labor). Today I bought a new replacement motor for $45 and would like to replace it myself. Would you please provide me the step-by-step instructions for replacing the motor?

Remove shelves ect from freezer, remove rear cover panel and it's pretty much plug 'n chug from there

$235 labor? Sounds like you got raped by your local repairman. Does he have a new boat?
