My whirlpool is about 8 years old, top loader.  Won't spin on any cycle, but everything else works just fine.  No unusual noises, still sounds like it is spinning, but the tub is not moving.  Drains just fine.  Any suggestions?  model number LSC8244DQO

If the coupler is broken it will not agitate or spin, check to see if it is agitating also.  If it is would suspect a bad tranny.
