yes i did check freq ,water level below the metal part of tumbler was not near the door and compared to other lg's ive worked on looked a normal level for water. It seems to happen just when in to the rinse cycle or just before the rinse cycle. I ran the washer in cold first no fe error then hot fe error as soon as it stopped filling i shut off washer.

It did not fail I take it the best time to check water freq is right when it displays the error code? How long do you wait until the water freq. test is done?
