I have a Frigidaire Affinity washer (LAFW3511KW0) that is giving an E41 code. I have unplugged the washer (no change), checked the stricker (fine), and I have unplugged the three connections to the latch assembly. I received an E41 when the latch assembly was disconnected. When reconnected, I still received the same error code. How can I further troubleshoot this problem to determine if the problem is the latch assembly or the circuit board?

when the Washer is in the Spin Cycle, and the Door is locked...
is it really locked ?
Then unplug the Washer's Power Cord from the Wall Outlet.
Can you then open the Door right away,
or only after a few minutes ?

The door will not lock and it will not start any cycles. When I try to start a cycle, the machine immediately pauses.

How do I know that I need the latch assembly instead of the circuit board?
