I have a Kitchenaid Glass Cooktop Model KECC562GWH3 where the small burner of the large dual burner has stopped working. I'd like to know how to troubleshoot this. I see that I can buy replacement burners but remember early on that a sensor went bad. Don't know how to access the inside. Thanks for any help.

Gonna need to Lift the unit out of the Cubby, remove the knobs and screws around the outer perimeter and lift the glass top off to access components

Could be that one part of the element has failed, or the switch that controls it - elements can be ohm'd out
