My washer is not spinning and draining after the first agitation cycle. I can hear a buzzing sound while in the drain cycle which tells me that the motor is getting power, but it must be frozen or failed. What motors do I need to check and how can I bench test then to see if they are functioning properly? Thanks.

Is there a way to manually unlock the door of this washer so that I can get the clothes out that are stuck in there?

No pumpy, no spinny. Probably have something stuck in the pump or a bad pump ==> Drain Pump and Motor

See this page to get the door open: Emergency Door Release for a Bosch WFMC Front Loading Washer

Yep, that's what it was. One of my infant's socks was stopping the pump from moving. Crisis averted!
