During the wash cycle, the agitator makes more noise than usual and seems to be slipping when washing larger loads. The agitator rides loosely and can be moved more easily than when the washer was new. Seems it doesn't alway engage with the other parts and makes a somewhat grinding noise. It will agitate a couple of times and then make a grinding noise for a few agitations. Any idea what parts I should look at to repair this problem?

A $5.00 part and about 10 minutes of work should fix you all up......
