Seems I have a bad transformer - when you engage the microwave, there is a brief hum, then the fuse blows (replace fuse - everything fine until micro power engaged - then hum, blown fuse) cap looks fine - no real evidence of burning, etc..... been working perfect for 25 yrs -

can't go by "looks"... cap looks fine - no real evidence of burning, etc
needs to be tested ..
also test the HV Diode for shorts
