squeak maytag agitation

washer squeaks only during wash cycle not during spin.its very loud and was wondering if it is the brake ive read that is a possibility but i dont know where that is exactly the basket turns slightly while washing

Yes, you have a bad brake rotor. There are several post in the forum
that will explain how to do this repair.
