7 year-old gas dryer takes 3 cycles to dry clothes. The vent is clean, no clogs. I have disassembled the machine, cleaned all parts, particularly the exhaust. Motor works, drum turns, it heats immediately, blue flame. I assume that the heat must turn off during the cycle. I tested both the cycling thermostat and the hi-limit thermostat with an ohm meter. Both are fine. Now, I'm at a loss. Any help will be most welcome. Thanks! Jim

If your Vents are clean, and there's good air-flow, and you tried a load with the Vent disconnected
common fail on all Gas Dryers ..
After they age, the Gas Valve Coils get weak when warm
cheap fix
