3 Month old Whirlpool Silent Partner i model DU1014XTXQ1.

Run it in any cycle or combination of heat / dry; will run for almost exactly 10 mins then shuts down:

Drain / Cancel light comes on, drains out all fluid then all lamps go dark... Clean bulb NEVER lights.

Have cycled circuit breaker, no difference (not that I expected any).

Disappointing, would rather not bring in 'The authorized service tech' without having a grasp of what might be wrong.

Thanks for your time.

Forgot to mention, heating element is not getting hot. I will now stop being stubborn and check it for continuity..

Heating element has 13.28 Ohms resistance, thermistor reads 0.58 Ohms.

Remove the kickplates at the bottom and get the tech sheet from the envelope pasted to the back. Put the control into diagnostic mode and run through the steps. Report. Be sure to replace the tech sheet when done.

Look again with a flashlight. If this is a new unit only 3 months old and hasn't been serviced, it has a tech sheet.

I have it out of the cabinet, tipped over on it's face. No tech sheet.

3 Month old Whirlpool Silent Partner i model DU1014XTXQ1.

... still under warranty ?

Heater could be anywhere between 8 to 30 OHMs
Thermistor should be about 50,000 OHMs @ 25C
