Only the electric broil works, Convection fan works but gas won't heat up. Error Code: 0010 AM71 UI73 EEKGO-092
Do I need valve assembly, gas valve #973716 or what?
I also need a new wok grate insert so if this is a $250 repair/parts issue - I may buy a new range. Any BTDT tips? Thanks so much!

Is this the actual code you're seeing in the display?

None of the grates are close to $250.

Kitchenaid ModelKGRA806PSS00
I replaced the top igniter but gas still won't come on in oven. Gas burners work fine. The fault code is:
O4 AM71 U173 EEKGO-092
Is 04 the same thing as F4, so I need a new oven sensor? Thank you

Need help to fix oven on dual fuel range. Top range gas burners work fine, but oven gas won't hear up, no glow after new igniter on top of inside oven. Does it have another bake igniter on the bottom? What does 04 fault code mean? Thanks

... no glow after new igniter on top of inside oven.
... Does it have another bake igniter on the bottom?

Your Oven uses DSI (Direct Spark Ignition)
NOT glow Ignitors

top one is for Gas Broiler
yes, there's another for the Bake Burner

Does the Oven's Gas Broiler work ?

On the Gas Valve,
check between each solenoid for 216 Ω resistance
(Broil terminal to Common, and Bake terminal to Common).
NOTE: Always check both solenoids.
If one of the solenoids is defective, neither one will operate.

1. To recall last failure code, press the Cancel key to place the range in an idle state.
2. Press the Cancel and Start keys in the following order:
CANCEL, CANCEL, START.
3. Verify the error code displayed on the control by observing for longer than 1 minute.

Retail stores call ranges with Electric and Gas both- Dual fuel. Yes, I replaced the spark igniter on top broil. I called Kitchenaid and 2 parts stores who told me there was only 1 ingiter but I thought it must use 2 since I can see the bake igniter also.
The last fault code is: 93f(?) 00 20 and AM71 U173 EEK60-092
I also saw a series of 3 sets of dash's. The oven gas broil and bake do not work, the electric broil works. I'm almost ready to buy another brand!

... The oven gas broil and bake do not work,

check the OHMs of both coils of the Gas Valve
if one is bad, neither works

Thank you RegUS, is there a video of how to check the OHM's of both of the coils of the gas valve? What does the 00 04 error code mean? I only found fault codes with letters. Also, what brand/model of slide in 30" gas or (gas dual fuel) range would you suggest to buy. I am joining the class action lawsuit vs Kitchenaid for sure! Maybe I should cut my loses before a repair call to Kitchenaid.

Here's how to use an ohm meter to test a stove element. The principle is the same for gas valve coils:

I see Sensei posted this, but I repeat becuase the above codes looks more like a software version than a fault code (I could be wrong):

FAILURE/ERROR DISPLAY CODES
Before proceeding with any corrective action, perform the following steps to enter the Diagnostics mode:
1. To recall last failure code, if not displayed, press the Cancel key to place the range in an idle state.
2. Press the Cancel and Start keys in the following order:
CANCEL, CANCEL, START.
3. Verify the error code displayed on the control by observing for longer than 1 minute. If the error returns, use the applicable procedure for the actual error code that is displayed.

What is my part for the bake igniter mf#? I also think my book has a typo and Kaid service and a parts store told me it only had one broil igniter, no bake igniter. What is my mfr bake igniter #? Does the oven light the gas from the top broil or the lower bake first, I guess they work independently? Both gas broil and gas bake stopped working at the same time.
Also, where is the lever on the regulator to check if it is closed(could I have hit it when cleaning)? With my kids around it is hard to work on this project.

Is this part 8191123 harder to get in than the broil igniter? Do I need to remove floor of oven or turn gas off first? Are there any videos of the replacement? Also, I pulled to oven door off and it's in the locked position by mistake. Guess I need someone stronger to get it back on properly.

Does each broil and bake igniter work independently? So, if I replaced the broil igniter it should be working already on top? Thanks for all the tips!!!

By part number # 9 should be p/n 4454048 but is now p/n 8191123....... electrode, bake....................... ( broil is called an ' ignitor' )...............still available.................The lever on the regulator is for the fuel only, will not stop the spark operation ( fast mental check for gas ranges )...............
