Last night the handle pulled right off the door! SmartSearch shows two options: the handle for $35.00, or a complete door for over $200.00! My die-lemma is: how is the door removed? Hinges/mounts are hidden. Do I have to dismount from the wall and remove the shell? Then, once I have the door on the bench, how do I disassemble it to replace the handle? There are no exterior fasteners. Is it glued together? The handle was screwed to the door face prior to door assembly.
Apparently manuals are not available.
I can still open the door and use the micro but I don"t need to hear wifey complain about her nails!
(Or I could just put on a rope pull but then it would just end up on Redneck Fixes!)

I would also order the choke cover, Item 11 in the above diagram. It breaks more often than not when prying it off to access the handle...

So, you go to open the door on your GE Spacesaver microwave and the handle comes right off in your hand! What's a brutha to do? Well, bro, you have two choices: replace just the door handle or replace the entire door. Replacing the door is obvious and easy but costs six times more than replacing just the handle.
