Kenmore ultrasoft400 low water psi

My watersoftner is 7 Years old and causing low psi in the house. I have a bypass setup and with the softener bypassed water psi is fine... What do I do????

Has it been working (Model Number ?), regenerating/using Salt etc ? have you tested your water to see if it is working ?

I would run resin bed cleaner through it and see if there is any improvement assuming that you have a sand and sediment filter upstream or the softener. have you changed the rotor seal kit since it was new?
