Frigidaire double oven FEB398WECD F4 error code

Top oven takes forever to heat. Sometimes shuts off and shows F4 code.
Old temp probe shows 1.07 K Ohms

... I'm guessing F4 does mean a shorted sensor,
that's all I could find...
Did you try a new Sensor ?
(price is right)
(may be intermittent)
OR may be a bad Controller ...

So glad to hear from you as always. I brought another sensor with me, but since I have to cut the wires since they changed the design, I was hesitant to install it. I switched the two existing sensors, but since it is an intermittent problem, and they are both behaving fine now, who can tell. I guess I'll bite the bullet and install the new one, but I don't want to be called back to re-diagnose. I guess I have plenty of time before Thanksgiving for the problem to show up again if I am wrong.
