Several months after my business partner and I opened our shop, we were sitting in the office discussing important matters. In the middle of a discussion and as if on cue, we looked at each other and asked "man, do your feet hurt?." it was quite hilarious as we both consider ourselves "manly" men and both were embarrassed to admit that we would succumb to a little foot pain. However, we both had been quietly suffering from extended walking on a concrete floor. So we decided, as a business, to look for comfortable shoes. We tried all manner of expensive track shoes, orthodontic shoes, tennis shoes etc. Nothing seemed to work. Upon the advice of a sales rep from our local parts house, we tried a $24 pair of shoes from walmart. Dr Scholls Escape http://www.kaboodle....kers-wide-width. We haven't looked back since. I may have gone through about 2 or 3 pairs a year and just bought another pair two days ago (not sure why the link says they are no longer available). Dr. Scholls has a wide variety of shoes sold at walmart and I would imagine that they all work the same. But nothing could get me to change what works like a miracle.

yeah I saw that link but I like them in black, which I think is a bit more professional. Walmart's site, although you can chose black, shows the initial image in white.

I bought a pair and they are nice work shoes. Thanks for the information.

Okay, I got to admit. I do like wearing my stylish timberlands from time to time (yeah I know, I may be old but aint nuthin wrong with being cool and charming  ) So I tried out the Dr Scholls Foot mapping station at the local wal-mart. Hey, it's nothing but a big ol' tool and me and tools....etc. Anyhow, the thing told me what specific orthotic inserts I needed. So I bought a set and placed them in the tims. Trying it out for the last week and works like a charm. But they cost $41....yikes...well no one said being cool was cheap.
