Short story long........some might remember that we got an "Up Graded Dishwasher" from GE since they couldn't fix the (new) one we bought.

Besides giving us an extended warranty on the up grade, they also gave us the "sound kit" which makes a big difference.
While installing the "kit" and the dishwasher was running, I found that the motor gets extremely hot. To the point you can't even touch it. I realize that electric motors due in fact get hot but this seems extreme. I'm concerned since the motor is only a inch or two above a wood floor and plastic parts are close to this motor.

Is this normal?
