Maytag Neptune MAH6500AWQ dreaded "LR" code

7 posts in this topic

arggggggg!!!!

oh wise one,

started having intermittent occurences of the LR code and machine not spinning. occurences increased now to no agitate as well. opened up the machine and found the diag instructions.

NO burnt areas on either board. ( no fuse on motor control board)

Motor ohms out OK

always 120v at connector on MCB

all diag tests resuts are again intermittent

Spin cycle

quick cycle

Have checked all neutral wire connectors.

always here a relay click on the upper board and then followed by click on MCB. sometimes the motor then does its job and sometimes not.

QUESTION:

these results point me to the MCB???

is board and motor from MAH5500 interchangeable

SER #37830974GA

MCB # 6 2726410

I have and it says to call to verify ser #'s...just trying to do it thru this forum, as the service bulletin indicates based on my parts that they need to be ordered seperately.

it appears mine are already the new type
