My freezer is now noisy and frosty. My guess is frost is building up on the fan, throwing out of balance thus making the very annoying racket that it does. When it is running the freezer get very frosty but the frosty really only builds up on the food items, the door and ice tray. There's very little frost on the walls. When it does run it will do so for at least an hour before it stops. The unit is 10 years old now. Thanks in advance for any advice on what might be the issue and how to fix!

Try the George Wa$hington test.

Close the Door on George and take him for a ride around the Door Gaskets
and check to be sure he stays snug.

Also inspect the flap on the ice dispenser chute. It may not be closing completely.
