Whirlpool Self Cleaning Wall Oven RB527PDB6

5 posts in this topic

The thermostat went out the last time we used the self cleaning cycle. I replaced it and then a year later we ran the cycle and it apparently has gone out again! Is there possibly a design flaw with this. I am thinking about calling Whirlpool as this shouldn't happen!

Using self-clean on any stove is tantamount to playing....well.......russian-roulette-smiley.gif

Disclaimer: The story and its characters and entities are fictional. Any likeness to actual smileys, either living or dead, is strictly coincidental. Expert testing has shown playing Russian Roulette may be dangerous to your health. The risk slightly increases if the triggered chamber happens to have a .44 caliber slug and using self clean may be as dangerous to the health of an oven. Durham Appliance is not responsible for any emotional distress you may incur by watching a really cute smiley shoot himself, at point blank range through an eye socket, causing the poor little guy's head to explode and further seeing lots of warm, thick beet-red blood and mushy steaming pudding-like grayish brain matter oozing out of the resulting cranium cracks onto his now broken and lifeless but once happy-faced skull. No smileys were hurt in this reenactment.
