110.20922990 Washer agitates while it fills and fills while it spins
Posted 29 November 2011 - 12:09 AM
Customer (a friend) was complaining that it would not complete cycles properly.
As I was testing, I switched the speed selector from Normal (slow/fast) to Delicate (slow/slow) then back again while it was spinning/filling, and the problem disappeared and would not happen again.
Timer? Speed selector? Hobgoblins?

You can do a similar test on the speed selector switch contacts, although you'd actuate it in a slightly different way.
If the switches checks out okay, then you need to replace the timer ==> http://www.repaircli.../3953248/547857

disconnect the Tan wire from the Water Level (Pressure) Switch and run the Washer again.
... Is there any other test for this switch?
If now it doesn't Agitate while filling, bad Water Level Pressure Switch
If it continues to Agitate while filling... bad Timer
