gas valve no heat

Just as Dishonorable as its front loading washer cousin beneath it, this front load dryer will not heat with a load of wet clothes. Inversely, when empty, sometimes the dryer will heat. Tonight, I removed the belt and ran the dryer for several minutes. The ignitor will glow for 10 seconds and then turn off, no gas ignition. Verified good gas flow, no obstructions, etc. Before I replace the entire gas valve, any suggestions??

may just be a set of bad Gas Valve Coils
common fail
(they get weak when warm)
