Problems with GE Monogram oven. I made a short video showing some of the problems:

As you can see the touch screen is having problems (the actual touch pad on the right works perfectly - it has the oven lights, back buttons, clear/off buttons -etc).

The touch screen is very laggy - there are long pauses after you touch bake (or any other function) and long pauses when trying to set the temp. The touch screen also isn't super accurate and sometimes doesn't respond at all. Sometimes it pushes the wrong function/button - so if I try to hit the #2 and instead it hits the #1.

The oven itself works perfectly once you get it running.

Would love suggestions on parts etc.

Thanks
Jay

look like you need a new front panel, but you need to check your
model # again. There shoud be a # between the M and S M(1,2,3)S.

To be forwarned, that panel is $800 IF its still available.

The front control panel for all of those models (1,2 & 3) are all the same item # (on the charts I looked at) so I guess it doesn't matter which model.

It seems the item is WB27T11001.

Could it be anything else or that is 99% the problem?

Thanks

$800??? Then you definitely need to order it from RepairClinic so you could return it just in case it's the eoc instead

That panel part WB27T11001 does have the push button controls on the right. But what I cannot tell is if it also has the lcd buttons that you are having problems with. The reason I ask is that the part directly behind it is called "LCD housing" part WB27T11264. Not sure if that part pushed through the panel. Masters, enlighten me please.

Sensei Reg...I think you are seeing the same thing I am. The part the op is listing cannot be bought at sears...listed as unavailable. I think we are seeing the same thing. Repairclinic price
$988.30 Sears $1223

Yes Masters - I would love to know as well!!!

That's what I'm trying to figure out - is it the lcd housing part or the control pad. You see sometimes the buttons are highlighted as if they are pressed but then the computer takes so long to act --- and again, the right side touch buttons work perfectly with no delay at all.
