My washer does not spin in the spin cycle. I watched it tumble wash. I can see the water drain so pump appears to work. But whether I let it run the whole wash the cycle or specifically ask it to run the spin cycle, it does not spin.

I see no flashing lights so no idea what this could be.

Any ideas?

Get the tech sheet from inside the washer, usually behind the bottom front panel. It will have information on retrieving and interpreting error codes and troubleshooting this problem. On this machine, most no-spin problems result from either a bad door latch assembly or a bad motor control board.

Kenmore 970-C45172-30 made by Frigidaire

While it's in the Spin Cycle,
is the Door locked ?
Is the Door really locked ?
If so, un-plug the Washer Power Cord from Wall Outlet.
Can you then open the Door right away ? (bad Door Lock Assembly)
OR only after a few minutes ?
