My Freezer will not get below 20 degrees. I checked the evaporator in the back of my freezer, and it is completely covered with frost. What is my next step

... completely covered with frost.

pictures ?
Does the Evaporator Fan run OK ?

It may be a bad Defrost Heater
or a bad Defrost Terminator (switch)
OR a bad MotherBoard.
depending on the first (2) characters of your serial number, there may be a recall on the MotherBoard

... serial number is AF

that would be Jan 2003
Service bulletin only covers Dec 2005 to Aug 2006

Someone would have to test the Defrost Heater and Thermostat with an OHM meter

I work at a computer company, so I will have someone get me a meter and show me how to use it. Do you have a diagram that shows me where these two parts are. I assume the theromstat is on the evaporator somewhere, but I see a couple things on the evaporator that look like they may be a thermostat. Where is the Defrost heater
