Our older Gaggenau dishwasher died about 2 weeks ago. It was essentially a Bosch which was very quiet. We recently bought the SHE7ER55UC and I installed it myself. I just started today on Express Wash (30 minutes). I was shocked to hear the pump whooshing like crazy during the cycle. You can hear water hit the door. Our other dishwasher did that. But the pump underneath makes this whoosh, whoosh whoosh sound. Is this maybe louder during the Express Cycle vs the regular longer cycle? Thanks Dave

I want to further elaborate on noise. We had some plastic containers during that wash cycle. After unloading, I ran dishwasher again. Much quieter but still seems noisier than our older Bosch. The most annoying sound is the rhythmic sound of water (I think) hitting inside of door. Sounds like a ticking/slapping sound every 1-1.5 seconds. our kitchen table is about 15 feet away, and it is very noticeable when sitting at table.

Solution: run dishwasher at a time you are not seated beside it

Either this is so ding-dang new that the parts houses haven't had time to stock inventory for it or it's a bad model number 'cuz I'm gittin' bupkiss widat one, budrow.
