hi, I have a Samsung refrigerator model RB1855SW with freezer on the bottom, digital temp control, and the freezer has just stopped working and we lost everything when it defrosted. The fridge seems to be fine. The drain below the evaporator was plugged and frozen solid and I don't believe that the evaporator fans are working but there is no ice or obstructions stopping them? Any suggestions of where I should start? defrost heater?

Sounds like a defrost problem but not sure. Upload a picture of your evaporator. The frost pattern on it can be helpful for diagnosis.

Dual evaps. Didn't check for that..if not frosted or sealed system issue could be a three way switcher problem
