need some help from the masters...what make and model (preferably stackable) washer dryer is recommended in terms of value.

OR, what make and models should I avoid like bad sushi?

Stack unit a full size or apartment (27 inch vs 24 inch) Not a lot of choice in stack units

On buying washers and dryers best rule is "keep it simple stupid" The more bells and whistles the more issues...

Thank you all...on further reflection, we are not going stackable, we will be using full size side by side, front loader only...

When using front loader make sure you use HE soap only or you will have all kind of problems

Amen also don't use softener it is nasty use white vinegar

Thank's ya'll...any thoughts around Samsung W/D? The models I'm looking at are DV330AGW (Dryer) and WF330ANW (Washer)...thanks!

And they ALL have way more bells n whistles than the 20 plus year old W/D we have now...

How about for LG..aren't they also a Korean company?

Electrolux models EIMGD55IIW for Dryer and EIFLW55HIW for Washer are also on the table...any thoughts?

yes, but parts & service info is usually available..
Service people may be hard to find in certain areas . . .

lol...can't go top load...putting a countertop across them...what i meant by "in terms of value" was "not the cheapest...but best overall for the buck".

Due, just save yourself all the hassle of comparative analysis and do it by hand like in them older days.....
