Maytag Neptune Washer mah55flbww won't drain, ND error code

1 post in this topic

Time for our yearly adventure with our Neptune. Gotta love it. This time my wife is doing laundry and it falls to drain. Code on display says ND. I discover some Neptune smartness. ND equals no drain. Great. So I take it apart to access pump. That pump doesn't want to leave the bottom of the washer (or at least it wasn't obvious to me how it comes out) but I did see to clips attached to the rubber drain to the pump and the top cap made of rubber. I assumed this was easily removed so that someone like me could check pump for debris. Man it was hard to get those off. But when I did I did a finger sweep and found nothing. This time the water started to flow, as if it was going to start a cycle but it just stopped itself after a few moments. One day, two problems with Maytag. Fun. (see other DW post.)
