Frigidaire GLTF2940ES3 runs and drains, but won't spin

Real new to this site and hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I have a Frigidaire Gallery frontloading washer that was purchased in May of 2007 that just stopped working right today. It seems to go through the cycles fine, but when it comes to the drain/spin cycle the pump comes on, water comes out the hose, but it will not spin.
Trying to troubleshoot, I placed it on the "Rinse/Spin" setting and watched it go through a typical rinse cycle where it tumbled the clothes through clean water. When it went to drain the drum stayed stationary while the pump removed what water it could. What could prevent my washer from performing a proper spin cycle? Thanks in advance to any replies!

While it's in the Spin cycle, is the Door locked?
Is it really lolcked ?
If so, then unplug the Washer Power Cord from the Wall Outlet.
Can you then open the Door right away ? (bad Door Latch Assembly)
OR only after a few minutes ?

Why wouldn't a properly functioning door latch assembly behave like this?

So 'cause I can open it right away after I unplug the washer that means that it's bad? Interesting...
