Hello, The freezer on our Kenmore 10654682300 stays extremely cold minus 28.3F even on the warmest setting (1) and it is very frosty. I have checked the defrost drain in the back of the freezer and it is clear. The refrigerator side is set on (3) and is at 35.8F. There is ice/frost build up on the “chill zone” vent that's between the freezer/fridge and stuff in the crisper occasionally freezes. Thanks a lot for any suggestions!

You should remove the rear panel of freezer and check for frosting of coils therein - take and clean out return duct frost with a steamer and check fan operation. Also make sure Condenser coils are clean under the fridge. This effect I have noticed is worse if users store large pots of Soup etc. in the Refrigerator section.
