5 year old SubZero 695. The lower section is freezing all drinks and fruit. Frost build up on inside of compartment. But the upper levels of the fridge are fine.

I have called a technician out for next week but wondering if you might help.

Is the Automatic Defrost Cycle not working?

May need to see the frost pattern of the Evaporator Coils inside the Fridge

Yeah, I figured it was under warranty. The frost is on the inside back wall which is white so you can't really see it. Only on the bottom shelf though. The top shelves are fine.
Compressor is not running much. It all seems very normal except this area is freezing.

Thanks!

the Fridge side "self defrosts" during the Fridge Compressor OFF cycle.
The Fridge side won't defrost if the Fridge Compressor never turns OFF,
(because of a sealed system leak)
and you would also get that frost...
Need to see some pictures of the frost pattern of the Evaporator Coils inside the Fridge.
