My Kenmore washer had the timer go bad (would not advance). I replaced the timer, which seems to work ok, but now, when it hits the spin cycle, it pumps out the water but it continues to agitate and won't spin.

the Timer sends the correct Motor direction (forward) for Agitate
and (reverse) direction for Spin
Did you buy this Timer new ?

Wouldn't it be impossible to pump out the water and agitate at the same time? Only on reverse, for spin, does the pump, pump out. If its trying to agitate, while in spin, and its draining. Theres something really wrong with that gearcase.
