Hello, i've got a JennAir Range, the Front Right Burner is not lighting, Switched Ignitor out and it is still not lighting, could anyone provide HOW to test to see if it is the Spark Module or the ignitor switch/wiring harness. On this particular range the ingnitor switch is divided in two, between left and right sides. Thanks

is it sparking ?
Does it Spark when any other Burners are turned ON ?

JGS8850BDS17, It will light with a lighter, spark is hard to see. It sparks when you turn on the back burner. I switched the ignitor out, and it still did not light, so I would think it would be safe to say the problem does not lay with the spark ignitor (ceramic electrode?)

so it's a weak Spark when either Burner is turned ON ?... spark is hard to see.
... It sparks when you turn on the back burner.
On that model, each Burner Knob should only Spark one Ignitor.
Could be a weak Spark Module OR the High Voltage wire to the Ignitor (degraded / grease, etc)
You could try swapping that Spark Module output with another output.

So is there anyway of testing either the switch (Repair Clinic part 1189190 OR manf # 74011648) or the Spark Module (Repair Clinic part 696058 Manf # 71002783) before you dismantle the entire cooktop and switch around parts. Even then, is it by the process of elimination for the spark module?
