Hello,

Was frustrated trying to get this dryer running again over the weekend and snapped off the tab for the door open / closed sensor. This is a little plastic tit located on the inside panel of the swinging door I have a screw in their now to fool the sensor and get the laundry done, but it isn't stable and I would like to replace the entire inside panel of the dryer but I can only find a part number for the whole door. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,

The plastic interior door liner from part number #241824. The small tit that actuates the door sensor switch # 424040 snapped off, I would prefer not to buy the whole door assembly. This would anger mama san and cut into the coffee fund.

Do I need to replace entire door?

Snapped the door pin off of the Bosch WTMC6500UC/01 dryer. Image here:
http://www.repaircli...=WTMC6500 UC/01 I really can't afford the whole door is there a repair kit, right now I have a screw in there which tricks the door sensor, but it isn't stable.

Post a photo that you took of your dryer showing what's actually broken on your dryer.

That's a molded piece, the little plastic tit is part of the mold. You'll need to either replace the entire plastic panel or perhaps you can rig something with a shaped piece of plastic, gorilla glue, and some imaaaaaagination. :blinky:
