I had a filthy rich customer that was rude the minute I walked in the door. I went around his kitchen looking for the light switch and he yelled at me "Hold the F&ck on, I get the F$%ckin light for ya. I told him I need to order him a new icemaker for his refrigerator, told him how much the trip charge and the icemaker would be and told him I need payment for the trip charge and icemaker and he barked back at me "I'm not paying you for a f&*cking thing until you have it repaired." I said "Okay sir, I will see you later. Go find somebody else to repair your refrigerator. I don't need you as a customer. " and I walked out.

Yeah the people who don't have a pot to piss in treat you with respect and tip and the rich act like there doing you a favor by allowing you in there home to fix there headaches !!!! Those r the type you have to kill with kindness or just plain tell to get &$!"@$!!!!!!!!!

Verbal abuse. I've walked out from a job because of it, and the company backed me up by flagging the account and not sending anymore of our techs there for anything else, ever...

Yea, I just had one like that minus the cursing. I was there to repair his two year old freestandign icemaker. I gave him the price for the motor assembly and labor. He procedes to point and yell about how he never used it, and he is going to call the president of Whirlpool. I said," Don't get mad at me, I don't make the equipment, so go right ahead." The very same day I had a guy refuse to pay for the trip because he declined the estimate. He and his wife kept arguing that they were never told about the trip. Which is BS because everyone is told when they call in. I finally got pissed and said the bill will be in the mail as I walked out.
