We have a new Bosch SHE7ER55UC dishwasher. It is listed at 42DB....quietest in its class. We have had it for a couple months.
It is listed as having variable pressure spray.
I have a couple observations. I was using it on Express mode and thought it was very noisy. Alot of pump noise as well as always hearing things banging around inside when they're being washed. Had a repairman come out and did not think there was anything mechanically wrong with it.
I have since tried it in normal mode and think it is much quieter. Does anyone know if it uses a higher pressure when in express mode than in normal or auto mode?
I called Bosch, and they had no idea.
Thanks
Dave

Cant be that, that would just make too much sense! I wont be impressed until they build a soundproof dishwasher that loads itself and puts the dishes away when its done!
